Currently our top offer that is not committed in 2016 at OT that we have a shot with. I think it's between us and A&M

Roach's story with quotes from April 4 is worth re-reading.

And here is Coleman Feeley's assessment after seeing Delance at The Opening:

#131 Jean Delance
Given five tries I’m not sure I would have correctly guessed his body weight at 280 pounds. Delance looks as if he weighs 260 just after a meal, and as a lineman, that’s a great problem to have. Coaches are much more inclined to sign lineman that need to gain ‘good weight’ as opposed to lose ‘bad weight’. Delance was quick, explosive, and strong, having the objective Nike SPARQ ratings as well as the subjective camp performance to back it up. He was consistently explosive out of his stance vs. air and vs. a pad. He also competed well in his one-on-ones losing a few but winning the majority. Delance at this point really only has one downside being that he will need at least two years of physical development before he’ll be ready to play full time.

I think Texas has to like there chances with this one.. I heard before he decommitted from OU that UT could make a big move. Of course Bama and Aggie will be tough to beat.

The longer it goes better it is for Texas
i wish i could be as confident.  i believe it will come down to what kind of season we have.  if we have some success our chances go up.  if we don't, then we stay at 20%.

Yeah, I hope he is wrong. I would love for him to pick the good guys. My friend is very involved with all of their recruiting and has been right in the past about other recruits. He is also pretty level headed and honest about his team. He said their goal is 9 wins this year.

My aggie friend says he thinks he goes to them
Then again every ag thought they had Malik in the bag as well.  Once he committed to The University he wasn't good enough anyways.

That's ag for you.  Ask Taylor Hamm hes pulls this off perfectly every year.

OL RECRUIT going Aggy is a good bet until Wickline fixes our OL problem. Where would you go if you were a top high school OL and looked at the draft the last several years ?

I'm shocked the WR out of Navasota ( which is big time Aggy country ) committed to us. That area is like Sealy in that there are lots of Aggy influence, plus A&M has a proven passing game and great offense, while Texas is struggling right now.

Any OL or WR Aggy really wants will be hard to pull in (sign) until Strong proves he is a winner on the big stage.

Once that happens its curtains for Aggy if TCU and Baylor continue to excel.

Except for this past year. What we witnessed was a man single-handily taking himself out in a public forum. Every ag hated him. Every Horn laughed at him. It was ugly.

I don't know. I might think "what difference does it make how good aggy OL is, that defense is a joke." We may score, but our defense is going to get their face shoved in it.

Then again, I look at 59-0 and wonder where that great OL went that day.

2003 Texas A&M Aggies football team - Wikipedia, the free

59-0, what a beatdown. Second only to the 77-0 beatdown the ags got at OU in 2003...at that time, the

worst loss in the history of ag football, ever. Nationally televised, it was. I relished every moment of it!

Fran the Man and DC Carl Torbush had a LONG DAY that day!  Great memory!
