Well crap. I know medicine has gotten a lot better since I was in college, but a torn Achilles might take 1 1/2 years to fully recover. Even still, he may not be back to what he was. That one sucks more than any other lower body injury.

I heard talk about Gullette or Tyanthony Smith possibly moving to RB. I hope not. Those guys need to concentrate on learning their LB trade.

If a 40 year old Aaron Rogers can rehab in a year then a young healthy 19 year old can probably do it quicker.

That is true, but then again Clark would run and cut a lot more than Rodgers.

Popped mine when I was in my early 40’s. Rehab is long but he will come back fine. He has the advantage of top flight doctors, therapists, and technologies. Just sucks for this season!

Put every scholly RB in a green jersey and let OL get after it. I hate to say it, but if the DL needs to tee off let that happen with squad guys in the backfield. It's the life of a PWO.

Did anyone listen to OTF tonight? New name and a walk on. Colin Page a Junior from Austin Anderson. 1702 yards rushing in ten games and 22 TD's his senior year. Forty seven receptions for 920 yards and six touchdowns his senior year.

Didn't Jonathon Gray and Jordan Hicks both have Achilles tears. Gray was never quite the same, but Hicks had a solid NFL career. Those are 1st ones that come to mind.

Notes from Burton today . . .

Bond, Bolden, and Moore have solidified themselves as the top three at WR. Says Moore is making himself "indespensible."

Cook and Golden are going to have to make the most of their opportunities as they will play because Sark is going with a rotation. Wingo is going to play a lot but right now he's confined to the outside WR spot.

Gavin Holmes seems to have earned the spot at 2nd CB.

Says Texas will rotate heavily at several positions, including DE (edge).
