remember Maalik is from the hood, Gardena Ca, even though he went to an expensive parochial school, thats why I said earlier this week , he is one of the homeboys....as for the hair, my niece's sons are biracial and they wanted to wear their hair in a similar fashion and her response was, " ...sure when you are 18, and no longer living in my house"
He can wear his hair however he likes as far as I'm concerned. Just put in some time on the practice field and cut down on the turnovers and we'll be fine.

I feel the same way about Malik's hair as I did about Quin"s mullet. Not a fan of the look, but it's his hair, not mine and I don't care what he does with it.

I don't care about how the players wear their hair. I care more about how they perform on the field and if they're SEC-ready 😂

You cant pull someone down by the helmet or collar but you can by the hair
That's a valid reason. He does tie it up during games but there is still some that sticks out of the helmet. That type of tackle is pretty rare though, especially for a guy who doesn't run much,

I’m worried about the K-State game. I feel that Howard will have a field day against our secondary. The red zone trips are concerning.
They have found a pretty dynamic solution on offense with their 2 QBs, especially the incredibly fast Avery Johnson who had 5 rushing TDs against tech.

Houston seemed to keep Johnson and Will Howard in check in the run game this past week so maybe we can take some lessons from their defensive approach. That said, both QBs had great days throwing the ball and Tech got blown out.

Our defense has smothered teams without dynamic QBs but we've given up a decent amount of yards and points to teams with QBs who can scramble. That is my biggest concern.

Because the growth coming out of his helmet is just as large as the growth inside his helmet. It probably adds another 5 lbs to his body weight. It is also not aerodynamic at all.

We have seen this look ever since the movie "Predator" came out years ago. I have hoped that it would pass quietly. lol

He gets the ball on every single play. Rare or not, it's something he offers defenders that others do not.
