Seems like click bait. If they couldn't reach a deal for the 2022 or the 2023 season its hard to imagine a deal for the 2024 season.

Tons of reasons for it to happy in 2024 vs a previous year. New TV contracts, new schools added, B1G expansion all play into it. Like the article states, it'll come down to espn deciding how they make more money.

Still think it happens in 2025 but if it were to happen, it was always going to be in 2024.

The new BIG12 schools are joining the BIG12 in 2023. By playing in the BIG12 in 2024 it makes for a more sensible schedule where we play 5 teams both years and the other 8 teams once.

I think if it was up ESPN we would already be in the SEC.  I suspect that Fox doesn't want to lose TX and 0u any earlier then required, and won't accept any offer that will realistically be put on the table.

I was referring to USC and UCLA going to the B1G in 2024. Not Big 12 expansion.

ET, there's probably quite a few on this board who never heard of Perry Mason and his secretary, Della. Popular show in the black and white TV days.
True but knew you would catch it and a few others .Reruns maybe?

When you buy out the contract, there's no acceptance required. Otherwise, the contract is then in default because it was part of the contract. This is how we know what the buyouts would be.
