I don't know if this is the "positive surprise" they were referring to, but IT said Texas will attempt to get WR Jordan Whittington back for a final year.

They believe he's at least open to the idea.

Jahdae was arguably the best DB this year (case can also be made for Watts and Cook).  He was all over the field. They must keep him at all costs moving forward as his role and impact would only increase.  Would be a huge blow if he went somewhere else, imo.

Interesting stat from TFB – Oklahoma State, Kansas State and Texas Tech games accounted for almost half of Texas' missed tackles this season.

Our average PPG went up 10 points from previous year.

QB pressures from our defense doubled from last year. Wow.

I guess it doesn't seem to bother the "little 12" how petty they are with their awards or officiating.  I have felt that both Texas & Okla have gotten the short end of the stick since declaring to move.  My cousin who is not a real football fan mentioned how poorly the officiating has been this year in regard to us.  I will be happy when get free of this conference.
