The Texas Longhorns Softball team just defeated Alabama in Game 2 of the Super Regionals to force Game 3 in Tuscaloosa, AL. UT pitcher Miranda Elish was transported to the ER after being hit in the face by her own catcher trying to throw to second base. Elish's mother has reported that Miranda is doing well. 

Side Note: Those Alabama girls are BIG. Must be because they's SECSECSEC.

What I fear is for MV. Will Briles even take this job seriously? Is this beneath him after all his successes? Or is he just glad to get into coaching again at any level?

I’m sure this gets his foot in the door from his view point. He can launch from here after a couple of years of success as long as he doesn’t have more issues with his football players. Mt Vernon is a pretty tight community, those kids will be on a tight leash from all the parents. i imagine that if there is even a hint of an issue that the entire state will come down on him. I still think it’s too soon for him to be allowed to come back personally.
