That's just nuts. Good job calling that one, guys. Hate to say it but RHM must be some kind of crazy immature, or just plain stupid, to blow it like that. Hope he grows up quick and turns it around. He could make a little money, in Canada at least.
Lets dial it back just a bit. Does he have some maturing to do? Sure. But plenty of kids do at that age so it’s not unique. He isn’t the first kid in his position to go through this and won’t be the last, so lets not call a kid stupid .

I hope he learns and grows from this and gets things back on track.

This is RANDOM- my son was playing madden and he played against the Austin “outlaws” and it made me wonder. Could Austin support a NFL team? Has this ever even been an idea. Obviously you have Houston and the cowboys but curious.

I don't mean stupid in aptitude, I mean stupid in choices. You don't go from Texas to JC by making smart choices. Res Ipsa Loquitur. And as I said, too, I hope he turns it around. He's got buckets of talent. Been tooting his horn since he made his first play for us.

Absolutely not.

Texas is too big a brand, IMO, to compete with a pro football team in a city the size of Austin. The NFL would have a disadvantage. They can do that in LA (USC), but not Austin. But even there, NFL comes and goes in and out of LA.

What I would see happening is San Antonio getting an NFL franchise and Austin folks would likely follow that team.

And I don't think Austin would ever get an NBA franchise because of the Spurs sitting there right next door.

Just read a tweet on bleacher report that former Horn Montrel Meander worked out at Grambling's pro day today.  Didn't know where he went after getting kicked off the team by CFS.
