I was also impressed with the refs. I didn’t see many bad calls.
It was refreshing to watch a correctly called game. It’s been a while.

Unfortunately for us, back to Big 12 refs soon.
Much better than the ones we had last year in Austin. Still can't believe they missed the facemask call on KR. Refreshing to see competant refs and another reason to be glad we are leaving this conference.

Hey Doc.  I'm over that victory.  That win against Bama doesn't matter anyway.  According to ousux and aggy, Alabama is trash this year and will only win 6 to 7 games.  Texas got them on a bad year.
lol, Bama will beat aggy this year at dead dog town. And it will be glorious. lol

As for OU, 49-0 so shut up and good luck against, lol, Tulsa. SMU gave them fits last week.

Actually from some of my sooner friends up here in soonerville, the game was validation that Texas and ou can compete in the SEC. I’ve had a few day things like: “it’s funny how people said WE couldn’t compete agains the SEC teams”. It’s a bit confusing to me bc I didn’t see any sooners on the field at Denny stadium Saturday night to make the WE and am not sure how  beating Ark St and SMU validates their ability to compete in the SEC?🤔

ou=tamu=championships by proxy.

A few thoughts after rewatching the game last night:

2. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but this was a B game from Texas. They have lots of things to clean up. A few missed blocks, and poor passes, and bad snaps. Still won. Idk if that means Bama is worse than we think or not.
Put me in the "let's wait and see" camp as far as how good Bama is. The reports of their demise may be a bit premature. Kind of like Mark Twain 😉
