I believe we are leaving even earlier. If BYU is coming in, as well as others, in 2023, that means a new GOR and new TV contracts. Those puppies aren’t done for a year.

Are the people that write these things clueless, or do they think we are?  We gone!

Just want to clarify. You believe that we will be playing in the SEC in 2023?

Yes. Why would we split earnings with BYU, and others?

if I understand correctly, bringing in new conference members, voids the old GOR.
I hope you're right, but a lot has to happen and quickly for that to be the case

Not to worry, we have already ordered the new office supplies.

What we know, and what has already been done are two entirely different things.

CDC’s office does not leak like a sieve, and obviously, neither does the SEC’s, unless the Ags get involved.

That is not correct. Does not void it since the majority of the conference voted them in.

Are you absolutely certain?

There must be some remedy then for reduced income

The 2023 SEC schedule is already out. Also the BIG12 bylaws specify that a team needs to give 18 months notice,  which implies notification at the end of the month for us to join in 2024.

I guess if all parties could agree it could happen in 2023, but to change the scheduling this late would be very challenging.

2024 makes some sense in that it's the year of the B1G expansion and the start of the expanded play offs.

I would love for the move to happen in 2023 but I don't think it's in the cards.

When we leave even if it's not until 2025 we need to pay out 2 years worth of BIG12  revenue,  so if I understand it the expansion will cause less distribution in 2023 and 2024, but should result in a lower exit fee.

Guys, I have always thought it would happen in 2023. If you don’t, that’s ok.

Friday we completed a brutal 3 weeks of school. Kept grandkids Monday & Tuesday.
Followed SHA’s suggestions & got fresh mulch. Started spreading late yesterday. Must finish today. Temp in teens in morning.   Thought the HOA was going to do it. Jerks.

As my Dad would have said, my boat is loaded.  Enjoy the holidays!

Merry Christmas!

TV contracts increase with more teams so it's not much of a drop in revenue at all.
TB14, it’s not that simple.

If you truly believe it is, explain why the WAC had a much lower TV contract than say, Big XII, SEC, or BIG.

Please don’t declare it is, like it is gospel, and expect us to take it at face value. This isn’t some junior college forum.
