I heard something disturbing last night which I hope isn't true. Supposedly UT has sent a cease and desist letter to a high school here in Gillespie county. Harper high school has had the longhorn on their helmets for years and now UT wants them to remove it. My first thought is why UT would even waste their time going after a 2A high school. If this is true, shame on you Texas.

Okay, this makes sense. It is a copywrited trademark. If I understand it correctly, for a nominal fee ($10 and other valuable consideration, e.g.) they can continue using it. Otherwise, to allow it to continue unaddressed, it becomes public domain property. 

Easily resolved and should not be a big deal.

Do you belive Choice is a upgrade at RB coach. And there is no way Texas will have#1 RB class.

And no it does not say hires are great it says the hires were a upgrade and one was IMO and one was not.

Plus there was no might in having #1 RB class

That is why I said I was confused.

No Choice in not an upgrade. He is young and has energy with a connection to some of these RBs, which is good and should help keep the level of high quality RBs coming here, but he is an unknown compared to Drayton.

I just saw a clip that the school released of practice……..one of those hype videos. I saw #88 make a good grab under tight coverage. I saw several of those from him in the spring. Casey Cain. I think he’s working himself into getting some snaps. That’s as loaded a WR room as we’ve had……in a long time…….maybe ever. You know Marion likes a kid that will scrap in traffic and make hard catches. Just something to watch play out.
