2022 Recruiting class recap

This is worth watching. Call it kool ade but it is entertaining.

After watching this the OL recruits are easily more defined as far as where they will play.

Nieto is by far the most agile. Hutson is a classic guard.

Banks is the LT of the future but can he beat out Karic?

Anyway just watch the video and form your own opinions.

I am still in disgust. If Banks can't beat out Karic, then its hopeless. Karic, in his second year, could not beat out friggin Christian Jones.
You can't just hand it to Banks, he has to earn it or lose respect from the players that have been there for a while.

my God...so we are down to Karic or a true freshman to start at left tackle?....LEFT TACKLE!!! The most important spot on the O-Line?....DOOM!!!

Exactly. Way too early to worry. I'm giving it another 2 weeks at least before I start to worry ?

In all seriousness, I'll wait until September before deciding if I need to worry or not.
TFB's report for today (first day in pads). . . . UT running game hit many home runs today. This means the defensive line is in worse shape than we thought, or the UT RBs are super outstanding, . . or both.

Not encouraging, even if it is early.

Wait a minute. You're usually our biggest koolaid supplier. Has the government sanctioned your source?

If we don't get Mathis, this year will look a lot like last year on the DL. Otherwise, the only difference will be the addiition of true freshman Finkley.

That's straight-up Grape-flavor, no-sugar for diabetics Kool-Aid right there.

I wish the news were different. I hope we do land Mathis and the issue goes away.

Agree that we need an edge rusher like Mathis, but last year's lack of understanding/commitment of the defense was a bigger problem. I believe we will see great improvement there this year.

And in the world of golf, Scottie Sheffler, former Longhorn, is in the final against Kevin Kinser at the WGC Match Play here in Austin at ACC. As it stands, he is leading the final 3UP thru 11 holes.

Hook Em!

PS: If he does win, he takes over as the Number 1 ranked player in the world.

Given our defensive struggles last year, this is very discouraging. PK needs to get the hook midseason or before if things do not improve.
