Not wherever they like, I beleive it still can't be in conf, and if it is in conf they have to sit out 1 year..and I also believe the University that they transfer to has to have a graduate program that is not offered at their current university,

False he can transfer wherever he wants. The coaches/school can place restrictions on players that have not graduated. Idk about players that have graduated. But i know mack has let players transfer to confrence schools in the past.

I keep hearing different things regarding transfers - it's pretty clear they have to sit out a year and lose that year's eligibility if it's within the conference. But graduating and going somewhere else for the last year or two of eligibility - that is not really transferring, is it? Does anybody really know what the rule is for graduating and using up years at another conference school?

4. Graduate transfers within same conference offering a graduate program not available at original university.

Grad can transfer wherever he wishes as long as the new school offers a program to further their education that is not offered at previous school with no restrictions or waiting time, ie sitting out a year
