Just had this exchange with Aggy

why don't you copy the above and ask him how things turned out?

as always, the aggy jokes just write themselves.

combined score, 14-5. um. yeah. that's right. it's an ass whippin'
Not to pile on, but their two hits last night were a sacrifice bunt and an infield hit that the guy at third thought was a foul ball. That qualifies as being shut down in my book.

I hope everyone has seen this article.

Parts of the negotiation between DirecTV and the SEC Network have become contentious because, as York said, the SEC Network wants to claim all of Texas as being in the "inner market" because of Texas A&M. York said it is an "absurd consumer proposition" that football fans in Austin should be considered in the "inner market" when Austin is the home of the University of Texas.

i can kind of see where they are coming from. austin was only second to birmingham for ratings when A&M played alabama in 2013.

according to the chronicle more austinites watched the A&M/duke bowl game than in any other city in texas.

More Austin residents watched EVERY bowl game more than viewers in any other Texas city. The numbers don't show some great appetite for tamu sports on the part of Austin residents, they represent the fact the demographics of Austin are of a younger viewing population with a higher appetite for college football in general than viewers in other Texas cities, something anyone who has spent in Austin could have explained even before bowl season started.

I know most aggys find it hard to believe, but its not always all about you.
