Isaiah Austin's career is over before it starts

i did see his interview last night.  of course i do not know this young man, but his interview was indeed heartbreaking.  i would suggest that he acquires his degree... life is full of possibilities.

The rigorous NBA physical probably saved his life, which he must be thankful for...  Hopefully he returns to Baylor and finishes school. Sounds like a good kid with a lot of optimism.

You work a lifetime towards this moment with a million dollar payday practically guaranteed...then this.  I can't imagine.

I feel really bad for this young man.  I hope that he got some hours under his belt while playing basketball and that he can come back and complete his degree.

Does anyone know if Baylor will continue to pay for this young man's scholarship?  It wouldn't need to count against their schollie limit, it could be a medical.

Hook 'em!

Yeah that's just news no one wants to hear. He'll be able to finish his degree at Baylor and hopefully have a good life.

incredibly bad luck, but reading his tweets in the linked article, seems like he has his head on straight. good luck to him.
