A nonfootball president wielding ll the power over Brown may need a nudge via a call to vote again.

No.

Removing Powers opens up Texas to the shithead brigade led by Perry and causes far more problems for the University itself, problems more important than the football program.

I don't think its time for anyone to turn on Bill Powers, but I do think its time to let Bill Powers know many of the alumni think this whole Mack Brown circus hasn't been very good for the image of the University and that if he doesn't act soon to clean the mess up, next time he needs the support of the alumni many of us will be a bit slow to come to his aide.

Yes. Condi 2014!

I am shocked at the possibility that MBTF could be back. My acquaintance that is involved with the BOR indicated that Powers was essentially told that it was necessary to have Mack leave.

If he is just stalling but Mack leaves, no worries but it has caused us not to get Nick (probably one of Powers goals was to not have Nick).

However if Mack does not resign and Powers or Patterson do not fire him there will be a huge push back on him by donors and by several of the regents.

I could see another meeting occurring in a month if Mack is still here then

No. Bill Powers is one of the greatest things to happen to UT as a school. I'm not happy about the way the Saban thing was handled but Bill needs to stay.
