Is Coach Strong In Trouble??

So, from everything I've seen so far, it sounds like this U of L regent, or whatever they call them was married to a sexually aggressive woman who he couldn't keep up with. Then she pursued multiple targets for her erotic fantasies, including Charlie Strong. CS felt like he couldn't alienate the wife of a powerful decision maker, so he was friendly towards her, without crossing a certain line. At some point, the husband caught her with someone and sued for divorce. He suspected that she may have also done the deed with CS, so he tries to out CS to put pressure on his wife to play ball in the divorce. I'm sure the whole BBC fantasy line goes over well with the Kentucky folks.
Why would the estranged husband try to "out CS" if there's nothing more to the Strong/Blue relationship? That doesn't seem plausible. Maybe because he's the highest profile "friend" of the Blues? Perhaps he is just reaching for straws and muckraking.

FWIW, I have no doubt that Tracey Blue was the "sexual aggressor".

Well, yea, insider info often actually is true. If anyone would like to examine the results of NSD and what I was told was happening, I think it would be highly insightful.

The guy who gave this info to me is the exact same guy who gave me that stuff. I have only had this guy as a source since November.

I'm okay with folks who don't buy the insider stuff. It's a free country. No one is obliged to agree with what is said. But you can't simply discount something because you don't like what you've heard.

"Gospel" is a pretty hard word. There's not much flexibility with it. It's a definitive.

Even my insider info is not a definitive. I can say Charlie had an affair and Texas knew, but there could be a million details surrounding that info that provide for a more understandable picture. We just don't have those details at our disposal yet.
Mark and Bobby Curl - both of you need to read my previous post and understand what I was trying to say.  I was intimating that I was privy to inside info and Charlie Strong was cleared in his initial hiring vetting.  When I say cleared I mean CLEARED!  Do you both get my gist?

I, also, said that you don't have to believe me as this is the net, after all, and I'm just another poster.  The same suspicion applies to me as it does to your "inside" info.  I'm okay with that.

But I am right.

I'm thinking some or most or all of yall need a good .....

Hula dance?

To be frank, I don't care about the perception of Strong's reputation to other biased fanbases. It is just irrelevant.

But I suspect you do care about his reputation as it applies to recruits and their parents, right?

As far as the actual affair, I know nothing, but I do know athletes. From a personal standpoint, I was recruited to play college baseball and I have a few friends who are in the mlb (side note, played a little bit with Ricky Jaquez who was at UT for a second before he flamed out). Athletes are cocky, arrogant, pieces of shit, myself included.

Don't be so hard on yourself.  I don't believe you are.  Nor will I accept a blanket condemnation of all athletes either.  We just had an offensive center that fought in the middle east.  I think he was far from being a POS.

So did Charlie have an affair, I have no clue; but, he was a former athlete, in shape, powerful, and rich as hell.

Sally likes to snow ski.  Bob likes Sally and lives in Tahoe.  Therefore Bob likes to snow ski with Sally at Tahoe.

So, in other words, we're not allowed to express our thoughts, observations, or opinions about this situation?
Of course you are.  But only as it applies to me.

An example would be "Doc, I have admired you from afar and would like to name my first born after you - Doc".

You are not permitted to ask me for money or to date my daughter (she is a married woman).

I know you're connected. But I have to ask . . . do you REALLY think Charlie could have had an affair at U of L and UT vetters NOT find out about it?

I only ask because that is what you're suggesting. Apparently, this was pretty common knowledge around U of L during that time from what I've been told.

I'll hang up and listen . . .

Nothing, absolutely nothing will come of this!  It is a fishing expedition in a dirty high profile divorce...  Mr. Blue will get what he wants from his estranged in all likelihood.

Anybody that says they know Strong had an affair....Is completely full of shit.  Texas has turned away past coaches due to infidelity.

How many of those past coaches did Patterson hire? In case you forgot or were taking a nap, one of the problems we had with Patterson is that he didn't give a shit how Texas had done things in the past.

LOL

When this is over, I want to return to you and ask . . . Did the repeating things over and over do anything to affect reality? I mean, this is straight out of the Clinton playbook.

I don't know whether Strong had an affair or not. But to suggest that whoever believes that is deserving of some insult from you is about as juvenile as it gets.

Blues settle divorce without Coach Strong

Former University of Louisville football coach Charlie Strong won’t have to give a deposition in Jonathan and Tracy Blue’s divorce after all.

Ann Oldfather, the attorney for U of L Trustee Jonathan Blue, said Thursday afternoon that the divorce has been settled.

Jonathanfiled court papers earlier this month suggesting that his estranged wife and Strong, now the head football coach at Texas, have been having an affair, and demanded Strong's deposition and records to try to prove it.

A hearing had been scheduled for Friday morning in Oldham County on Jonathan’s motion to subpoena texts and emails between Strong and Trace Blue since 2012, and for the return of clothing and a designer watch she supposedly gave him.

Kentucky is a no-fault divorce state, but Oldfather had said in court papers that the records will support his motion for sole custody of the children. Tracy Blue also was also seeking full custody.

Oldfather said in in a brief interview that the couple will be given joint custody.

Tracy's lawyer, Laurel Doheny, said earlier this week that "the end of the Blue marriage is an unfortunate event for their family†and that she would have no comment.

Strong did not directly respond to questions about whether he and Tracy Blue had an affair, as the court documents imply, saying in a statement issued by Texas football that it would be inappropriate for him to comment on a pending legal case.

In a column, The Courier-Journal’s Tim Sullivan questioned whether the allegations contradicted Strong’s demands for outstanding character and high core values from his players.
