Please note that in order to chat with folks, YOU MUST BE FRIENDS WITH THEM ON HORNSPORTS.
How do you become friends with a Member? It's simple.
Click on their user name. THEN in the left-hand sidebar you will see a menu item titled "Friends."
Above the friend list you will see a button titled "Add me as a Friend."
CLICK THAT BUTTON TO INITIATE YOUR FRIEND REQUEST (Yeah, kinda like Facebook).
You will then be added to that individual's "Friend List" and can then Instant Message them.

I DON'T want everyone to be able to add me as a friend. How do I APPROVE who is added to my friends list?
In your Settings area, under the Friends area, SELECT (place a check mark next to the) "Allow me to approve members before they're added as a friend" option.
