To dilute the message?

I'm not quite following the logic? What aid/help is there is diluting the message?

How can anyone confirm a rumor when so few are truly in the know? If we had to wait for confirmation from two, independent on-the-record sources HS would have 1 thread:

We don't know yet. We will tell you when it is official.

I don't come here for proof. I come here because I love Texas football and I am fascinated with all the use of information, misinformation, etc... to sway public opinion.

I cannot wait until after this is all official. I will go back and read who was saying what and when.

I have zero sources of information when it comes to the inner workings of Texas so I do not intend to bust anybody if they were incorrect.

This is like a reality show.
