If Saban ---

I want Saban. There is no denying that. But my true motivation is getting past the MB era and starting a new without someone else. If Saban stays and we get someone else that is fine by me.

It'll hurt for a while. But whoever they bring on board I'll get behind 100%. I planned to give my full support to Mack had he returned in 2014. I don't have to agree with and or like the leader of our football program. But it's sure a lot easier to be happy when they win. FWIW
I believe Mack has been a cancer to an underachieving program these past 4 yrs. No way was I going to support anything he did if he came back as coach next yr. I still can't believe he will resign, but I am hopeful it is going to happen.

First we must get him out, then we can work on recoveringing the program. Mack IS the problem

Here is what this twitter person is saying, for what its worth --

beingreal@tex09413171 --Charlie Strong will be primary target and most likely after Saban

Malzahn's Dream Job = Texas

"There's an expectation that the Texas job will open in the next few weeks. According to a source, Malzahn has told friends privately that coaching the Longhorns is his dream job. If confronted with the choice between Auburn and Austin, it's a no-brainer move for Malzahn to bolt. The best job in the Big 12 is a much more stable place than The Plains, as even a play-caller of Malzahn's acumen isn't likely to make adjustments to historical trends."
Auburn's Gus Malzahn should jump at Texas job if it becomes open - College Football - Pete Thamel - SI.com

He comes great, he doesnt there are others. Does not matter. What matters is Brown being out, culture changing, and things getting back to where they need to be.

Think Fisher would be a phenomenal hire for Bama, assuming Saban does in fact come here. Ace recruiter. Not overly concerned with running a clean, ethical program. Builds his teams to dominate physically and athletically on both sides of the ball. Still likes some ground and pound, huddling, FB stuff. Just more passing-based than Nick is.
