How many players to NBA?

I see where Barnes has the Horns all the way to No. 15! I don't think anyone could have predicted that. Hopefully they'll continue to surprise and make a good showing in the NCAA tourney. For those that follow the hoops team with great regularity, how many do you expect to move into the NBA ranks next year of the current roster? That seems to be the trend for Rick Barnes and his teams.

None. People, and usually the kids themselves, seriously underestimate how difficult it is to make it to the NBA. If you're not 1st round or high 2nd round it's not too likely that you'll make the team.

Although there is sometimes a place for a disciplined, fundamental player that can play great defense even if they aren't a top scorer. Those guys can make a team as an undrafted sometimes. In my opinion, that's the best bet for the guys we have now. And they've got the right coach to get them there because they seem to be listening to him and buying in.

Ridley is only guy that could possibly have a shot. Though if he returns and improves as much as he has from fr-so year, he could see himself as a lottery pick. Another thing that will help Texas is that this is going to a big time draft, while next year maybe not so loaded.

The other thing about Ridley is the NBA game has drastically changed over the past few years. Big body centers really aren't hot commodities anymore. The game has shifted more to big guys that can stretch the floor and hit jump shots. Until Ridley improves his offensive game and versatility on the offensive end, don't think he will be projected in the first round. The NBA wants players more like Lammert now then say a Ridley. Which is also why Myles Turner will be gone after one year.

If Ridley really is 6'9 285, then that probably doesn't translate well to the NBA. He probably needs to lose 20 pounds or grow 2 inches.

Zero, they will all be back next year.

Agree that Ridley needs to drop another 20 lbs and develop a consistent mid-range jumper to be a good NBA forward.

From the sound of HS hoop brethren Texas could be a serious contender in 2014-15 for the Elite Eight, Final Four?
