HornSports March Madness Bracket Challenge

so.....who is keeping up with this? I dont even remember who I picked, but I know my bracket is a smouldering pile of poop. However, this was a contest with my fellow numbskulls. My suspicion is that this is more a race of incompetence - vs - ineptitude.

How do we find out how we are doing against each other?
You have to sign in but here are the standings

SHA....I couldnt sign in either. Then I tried signing in before going to the brackets and that worked.

Congrats Rulz....nice job.....As for the rest of it.....if I can be tied for 7th out of 24 with that dog crap of a bracket I threw up there the rest of y'all must be brain dead. I know nothing and know that I know nothing,

Thanks a lot Aaron for exposing me to everyone for the idiot I am.

I totally forgot about this because my bracket went to hell on day one.  I just checked it and HOW TF am I tied for 1st???  Stranger things have happened I guess... @Aaron Carrara what's the tiebreaker? Looks like the top few brackets all have the same results...

just for you SHA

It's going to be feast or famine for me. If Baylor wins it all, I'll take 1st place. If they lose, I'll drop towards the bottom. It pains me to do this but.....

I'm in 4th place, but Bama got beat and I had them upsetting Zaga and taking it all. So my bracket is doomed. I do have Baylor in the final two.

@tejasrulzWho wins the Gonzaga vs Baylor game?

I've stated all season that Baylor might be the best team in the nation so going with my gut, I have Baylor beating Gonzaga in the title game. Should be a good game, if they both make it.

I have Baylor and Gonzaga in the final with Gonzaga winning.  Should be fun!
Can these two things be possible?

1. Overall this is about the worst bracket I’ve ever filled out.

2. 3 of my final 4 are still alive.

My final 4 was:  Cougar High, Baylor, Gonzaga and Texas ?

I have Baylor beating Gonzaga in the finals.

yeah, me too!....it is all those other dumbass picks I made that has done me in....
I really don’t even know how other people do their brackets… This is how I’ve done it all along for the competition in my family:

> I fill out 1 bracket.
> When my team wins I highlight.
> At the end you count up all the highlights.  Whoever has the most highlighted teams wins.

I guess this is how everyone does it?

This year, on one side of my bracket, I missed half the games in the first round. The other side wasn’t much better. However, I have three of the four teams correct! I don’t know that I’ve ever achieved this before? So… Overall, I had a bad bracket but I’m doing fantastic in the final four.

Texas really messed up my bracket.  They were my 4th that didn’t get in.

I’m pulling for the Coogs today!  Oldest kiddo will be graduating HS and heading to UH this fall.
I’m pulling for Cougar High as well.  I still have a soft spot for Cougar basketball because Phi Slamma Jamma was so fun and cool!

Its still one of the greatest mysteries of the universe that they didn’t win a natty.

all the contests I have seen give 1 point for first round wins.....2 points for second round....4 for third round wins...8 points for 4th wins..16 points for wins into the finals and 50 points for the winner. a perfect bracket would get 32 points per round.

as anyone can see looking at my bracket, very little of this applies to me...

Thank you!  Under this scoring method, I think I have a pretty good bracket with 3 of the final 4 teams.  Can (someone) give me an idea of what a “good bracket score” is??

the guy leading the Yahoo challenge has 130 points...he is top of 466,500 entrants.

also I was wrong about the winner....that is for 32 points, not 50 as I said earlier.
