Around 3 mins left in the 1st half and Texas is leading 43-33. The Horns are 55% from the field including 7-11 from 3pt land.

Man, the Beard situation seems like it took the air out of the basketball for a lot of fans.

Nice run to end the half up 57 to 35.  Hopefully Disu is okay amd won't  be needed for the rest of the game or the next game.

57-35 at half. The Horns went on a 14-2 run to end the half. We're hitting 58.8% (20-34) from the field and 64.3% (9-14) from the 3s! Oh, also 8-8 from the FT line!

Both teams come into the contest with only 1 loss however the Horns had the way tougher schedule.

He didn't look happy walking into the locker-room just before half and I haven't seen him since.

Yeah, they showed him on t.v. before heading to the locker room. He pulled his jersey up to hide his face and looked dejected going to the locker room. Hate that they fell back into him the way they did.

100-72 Texas, great game by the Horns! It could have been worse but Coach Terry had nothing but freshmen on the court for the last couple of mins.

Took our toddler down for the first half but had to leave at halftime due to her bedtime. They were definitely flowing last night. It could've been an even bigger game if they got some better bounces off the rim on some otherwise pretty plays. Personally, I think they were flowing because of Hunter. That's the best he's looked in weeks and I wonder if he really did tweak something in the Illinois game (I think it was his foot). Even though he didn't put up a ton of points, he was moving all over the court and weaving through the defense. The offense moved through him anytime he was on the court, which in turn, fueled the passing from everyone else and overall, resulted in better shots.

As for Disu, consider me very worried. He went down immediately and grabbed his knee. He was able to walk off the court but was clearly upset and never came back into the game. I really hope this is not a serious injury. The kid has already gone through enough in that department.

Great game by the Horns. I'm a bit concerned about the defensive intensity at times but can't complain about a big win over a decent team. Disu's injury is very concerning. They need him as they are already thin in the front court. Big teams will give them problems and missing Disu will compound that. He was really playing well last night until the injury.

I'm ready for Big 12 play. It's going to be a grind.

I don't know what got into them, but this was the most efficient game I've seen them play since Gonzaga.
From the UT website: The Longhorns set team season highs in points (100), FG percentage (.581), three-point FG percentage (.545) and FT percentage (.941).

BTW, Morris was on fire last night, we need to see him on the court more.
