The Austonian seems to be a better fit - the highest residential tower in Texas, walk to a wide selection of bars and restaurants downtown, best view and resell value, walk to campus in 20 minutes (very important as there will be tons of work to be done).

I was perusing for listings around $6.5 million, 8000 sq ft, (based off the SG post) and the french stuff she seems to like and thats what popped up.
