At times my daughter would agree with you, and at others she would disagree with a great deal of energy.

We have a good time. I raised her much as my parents raised me, but don't we all. I didn't have many rules, but the rules I had were very firm. She stuck to them, and that allowed me to give her a great deal of freedom. We had a lot of fun together. She went on to UT, and the rules were gone, but the way of life stuck. I was very lucky.
