Yes, I do think he brushed over a few years there where Texas was quite good.

He would have been better served to use the years 84-97. With the exception of two years those were some dark times. I do think his recounting of the Mack years as a fan and the kind of man Mack is were interesting though.

I spoke to Bryan Cox last week. Bryan is a good writer and nice guy.

Exactly. 1990 (shock the nation) and 1996 (roll left) were the only bright spots in that span of years.

I remember all too well 85-88. It pretty much sucked! 0-8 vs OU & aNm. Had some great players in Brit Hager & Eric Metcalf, but that was about it.
