After a long wait, football is finally back on The 40 Acres. Fourth-ranked Texas and unranked Colorado State will face off in the season opener for both programs at 2:30 PM at Darrell K. Royal – Texas Memorial Stadium. The Longhorns finished last season with a 6-0 record at home and have hopes of continuing that success in their first season in the Southeastern Conference. It all starts with the Colorado State Rams, who haven’t enjoyed a winning season since 2017 but have the talent this year to contend for a championship in the Mountain West.
