Friday morning gut check

OK, it's Friday morning. What's your gut telling you where this thing is headed? Not so much where you hope it's headed, but where you feel it's headed. I'll hang up and listen.

if saban wants to come here you let him... however, i have never though he was the best fit. i think Texas needs someone who can run the spread and be prolific on offense. was is urban meyers name so quiet? i still think briles would kill it here. malzahn would make us a juggernaut. fisher would be all world. thats my gut. i guess my point is dont beg saban, he needs to want to be here imo.

With all the smoke out there it is hard to figure out what is really going on. That being said I believe it is Saban's job until he says no, which I would guess we will know by the end of today. After that it's anyone guess but if we don't have an announcement by Monday my gut tells me it will be Fisher or Harbaugh.

I am sure they are both great coaches,but are they the best out there? I thought we had more money, the best job in all of football, etc and we get one of these two??? Really??? Ags and Sooners will be laughing their a$$es off at us.

I dont know who it will be at this point, however regarding the announcement, SP will want to time it to make the biggest media splash possible. I'd say Monday, steal the media away from the NC game.
