Firing up the grill for more crow

I just KNEW Rick Barnes was dead man walking and the UT hoops program was circling the drain. 

I was less certain about Augie and baseball, but was pretty sure after missing the NCAAs 2 straight years and an unthinkable last place conference finish, the old man had lost it and it would be a few years before we returned to Omaha. 

call me nostra-dumbass. anyway, gonna enjoy my crow with fava beans and a nice chianti.

Joey...you no doubt were more glass-half-full than damn near anybody, but i don't recall any Omaha predictions back in february. 

Well i won't bet against 'em now.

I also thought Barnes was out the door and I was ready to help him pack. Wasn't sure about Augue though. He is a legend

No, you didn't see any Omaha predictions from me.  All I said was that we'd be fine, and that anything after playing in a Regional would be gravy and playing with house money.  An Omaha prediction was not anywhere in the cards for a team picked to finish 4th in the conference before the season began.

I don't remember who they were but there were quite a few on here that had them sitting home at the end of the reg season. Of course I was not one of them
