There will be an LHN Inter squad World Series that will begin on October 13th. This is a 3 game series, the 1st on the 13th(6PM), 2nd on the 15th(6PM)and wrapping up on the 20th(4PM). All games will be on the LHN.

In the mean time the team will be scrimmaging on Monday, Wednesday, & Friday(3:00PM) and on Sunday at 10:00AM.

Interesting to note that these games are during the Week..

The 1st scrimmage was yesterday and Freshman OF Patrick Mathis drove in the winning run on a single as the Orange Team took down the Grey Team..

Any word on how the other FR are looking? If Clemens is pitching? How Marlow looks coming off surgery?

Number 7 is fairly distorted also. That was a top 5 class. Most of the teams above us fielded more players which is why their ranking was higher. If Texas takes 1 or 2 more recruits they probably field a top 3 class, but scholarships just aren't available.

Kendall Rogers was gushing over Texas baseball today on Twitter.

FR. Pitcher Kyle Johnston was up to 89 last year, and is now already up to 93-94 with good stuff. Rogers said he will have an instant impact.

FR. Pitcher Connor Mayes is another guy that will have an instant impact. Was an 87-88 guy but now 90-91 with good stuff.

Rogers also said that Gurwitz and Boswell are apparently "mashing the ball".
