It's interesting that you read my post and interpreted it in the way you did. That's one of the perils of posting. It's extremely difficult to put feelings into words, and when you make that effort, there will always be someone that takes it differently that what you intended.

Obviously I wouldn't be reading this or posting here if I didn't care about recruiting or think that it was fun. But it's not a serious life or death thing. It rarely makes much difference whether ONE particular player chooses to attend one school or the other.

Earl Campbell might have been one, but I agree with you.

 
No question but what Earl would have been a "foreseeable" difference maker. Another that comes to mind, in the State of Texas, was Warren McVea.

 
A guy I talked to today who knows Porter's coach said Porter is again thinking Texas. Apparently, he likes Koenig a lot.

Koenig had an in home visit with Porter and apparently blew Porter away. Porter wasn't expecting that. One concern is that Jamal Adams is going back to LSU this weekend to help in recruiting. I think Porters LSU visit is this weekend.
