He didn't even say that, he said Strong was extremely vocal. Could mean he went on a 15 minute epilogue about the situation.Didn't exactly say he was yelling at him. Just said voices were raised.

Not sure why you wouldn't understand that professionally it's never good to yell at a recruit. I think Strong would be smarter than that.Coach Strong is a very intense. If you tell him one thing one hour and then change your mind a couple of hours later, the conversation is probably not going to be pleasant.
Not sure why some would find that hard to believe.
"Here is where it gets interesting. Coach Strong apparently got extremely vocal and voiced his displeasure. There was some shouting or raised voices."Didn't exactly say he was yelling at him. Just said voices were raised.
it was never said he yelled at anyone. raised voices and having an intense coversation with someone over a very important decision does not equal yellingNot sure why you wouldn't understand that professionally it's never good to yell at a recruit. I think Strong would be smarter than that.
Yelling serves no purpose to UT, certainly not if you have any hopes of getting him back.
Seriously guys.
Yes, this would make sense. Did this happen?Coach Strong is a very intense. If you tell him one thing one hour and then change your mind a couple of hours later, the conversation is probably not going to be pleasant.

Of course. Raised voice and shouting can be construed as different from angry confrontations. As you have said and as we have observed, coach Strong is intense and COULD easily have been saying "We are going to be TOUGH, we are going to be MEAN and we want YOU to be part of it."You guys are looking at this like an animated conversation is a bad thing. I would not.
Irony of this is, he could now flip to LSUThis gist of it is Strong wasn't happy about it when Porter told him and it was apparently evident. Does it mean Strong didn't handle it with class? NO. Of course he did.
Porter's Coach wants him to follow his heart and play where he wants to, but his personal trainer (who has influence on Porter) wants him to play at UT.
Porter still has a trip to LSU scheduled but as of now he is a TCU commit.
Perhaps Strong's voice is naturally raised. I always assumed Strong's "soft" voice was reserved for the media and everything else out of his mouth would sound like gunnery sergeant Hartman from Full Metal Jacket. There was some shouting or raised voices.
Canceling our official visit and taking one to LSU appears that he is gone...glad Strong is going down fighting. Guess I'd rather lose him to LSU than TCU.Porter still has a trip to LSU scheduled but as of now he is a TCU commit.
If he isn't going to come to UT, I would much rather he go to LSU. When we lost out last year on Andrew Billings it sucked, but not as much as it did watching him play against us.Irony of this is, he could now flip to LSU
Agreed. There's just something very wrong about losing a commit to TCU.If he isn't going to come to UT, I would much rather he go to LSU. When we lost out last year on Andrew Billings it sucked, but not as much as it did watching him play against us.
No, it said a Strong was very vocal and voiced his displeasure. The very next sentence says there was shouting or voices raised.Didn't exactly say he was yelling at him. Just said voices were raised.
