I think most of us are looking forward to what comes after this game.

I will watch the game but I would be fooling myself to think that this game was a typical bowl game. Our coach is gone, assistants have one eye on their new jobs, and many of the fans are waiting to see what's next. Honestly the excitement that I would normally have for a bowl game has been placed on the coaching search.

Yeah I noticed that too. Gotta be all the drama going on right now making it hard to get excited for this one.

...throughout this past week, i have made a few post regarding mack's last game at texas. not much of a response... christmas and all. but as monday draws nearer, the temperature shall indeed began to rise.

...come early, get loud, wear orange, stay late.... indeed!...

How much time do you think the commentators are going to spend on the coaching situation during the game? I hope they don't spend a lot of time going on and on about it...but I'm sure they will.

Alamo Bowl….what can we expect? I certainly hope that mr. brown has prepared our team to face a formidable opponent. If all the info being splashed across the internet is true, I do not expect a positive outcome for the good guys. It appears that mr. brown has been distracted from the "Duties" of a head coach in preparation for the battle to come. I ascertain that he has spent more time in attempting to negatively influence and/or sabotage the process of hiring a new Head Coach for The University of Texas. My hope is that the young men that represent us on the playing field have enough pride and fortitude to give their best efforts in spite of the mr. brown.

The Alamo Bowl is not nearly as important as Texas' next HC.

Mack Brown's last game. (Mack Brown). Against Oregon, a high-scoring team ranked as high as number 3 during regular season. What do you expect?

It's sad but every time this year that we play a good team we lose by 20+. I hope it's different on Monday but I just don't see it. My expectations are very low.

Unfortunately, TOTAL INDIFFERENCE. Lame duck doesn't appear to be doing much coaching. Appears that the coaching for this game is even less than what we have had over the last 4 years.

Ive posted a couple articles and a few things, but the coaching search far dominates any discussion.

Cant wait to get back to talking Xs and Os, recruiting, and UT Football sans drama queens and lame ducks

Over the last 4 years the longhorns have turned into the cowboys for me…am only partially vested until wholesale changes are made. Both need to be burned down and rebuilt. I will be quail hunting in San Ygnacio for the next 4 days with buddies.
