DISH to add LHN! (and SEC Network)

Breaking news from the Walt Disney Company and DISH Network.

Good news for us! Better late than never!
That is great news for those who have Dish and it is even better news for Texas fans. The money pockets at The University Of Texas just keeps getting deeper. There will be a lot of collages who would have loved to have there own network like The University Of Texas. But we all know that Texas had to wait for this to really take off. There are some Texas fans who put the LHN down saying it would never amount to anything. But good things happen to those who wait for it kind of like a good fishing hole. :cool:My friends y'all have a great week.

More on DISH deal:

ESPN and DISH (NASDAQ: DISH) have reached an agreement for DISH to carry Longhorn Network (LHN), the 24/7 channel devoted to the University of Texas, within the state of Texas and nationwide.

The channel will be available to DISH customers in the America’s Top 120+ and higher packages nationwide later this summer.

Details on LHN’s channel number will be available on http://www.dish.com at a later date.

I have DirecTV. Hoping they are the next provider to drop.
Please contact them and tell them you are planning to switch if they do not add it. I just did. I can't hurt.

I'm considering not having cable tv until football season starts. How much more does adding LHN to your UVerse cost? I would like to have both internet and cable to be less than $100 per month.

Don't think you can do it, but check it out.
