I know there were some wanting to make Lodge's elimination of Texas about Sumlin, Murray and the Ag's recruiting machine. Here, in his own words, Lodge says that's not true.

Me too, but word is Koenning is a helluva lot better WR coach/offensive mind than Wyatt. I guess Strong wasn't worried about his staff matching Wyatt's recruiting prowess. Judgement calli was kind of surprised when wyatt wasnt retained.
1 mentioned it in the Lodge thread. Several have talked about it in others (regarding other recruits).'some'? pretty much just one guy wasn't it?
See no's 2, 5 & 10.So, you're saying that Texas as a school wasn't able to satisfy Lodge's goals at the collegiate level? Without Wyatt he views A&M as the superior option, I would say that is a win for us, not a loss. The timing of Lodge's announcement coincided with the Kyler commitment, it obviously has played a pretty significant role in where Lodge goes.
Who the hell is saying that? Koenning has had his play calling duties stripped in at least two of his previous jobs. I hope he does well here, but he's going to have to show me he's better than Wyatt because I would take Wyatt without a second thought.Me too, but word is Koenning is a helluva lot better WR coach/offensive mind than Wyatt.
