Darrell, what are you hearing?

Strong is getting the player and fans out of their comfort zones...he isn't giving a damn about what we think, it's his show and he's going to run it his way.

Seeing as how the fan base can have an influence on the overall perception of the coach and put pressure on administration to make change when things aren't going well, setting a "screw you fans, I don't care what you think" tone from the get-go wouldn't be in a coach's interest for the long run. I'm not saying that's what he's doing, but if so.

That being said, he can make his hires and if it's unimpressive at first appearance I'll still get behind him, but if down the road they were proven to be shit hires then he, like anyone else, should be held accountable.

I don't know diddly-squat, but if Watson is being contacted by NFL coaches, it surly sounds like he is a lot better than most of you are giving him credit for. Maybe it's just that he's great at QBs, but not so much at OC? Why is he thought to be so bad?

Because his offenses have been unimpressive in the past, his sole impressive year was with one of the nation's top QBs, and this:

As for his QB development, he was the QB coach for Bridgewater. Aside from that he has no history of being "great with QBs." In fact, far from it.

Aside from rumors about NFL teams being interested in him, I don't see anything credible or confirmed. If NFL teams are interested in his services, especially as an OC, he wouldn't have accepted a QB coach position or a "co" anything, and would either be in the NFL or at another large program. I'll believe the demand for him when I see a credible confirmation or hire.
