Alabama LHP Zane Adams (8-4, 3.96 ERA) will take the mound against Texas RHP Ruger Riojas (5-2, 4.04 ERA).

No. 6 Texas has won nine of its last 11 games and now meets No. 7 Alabama in an elimination game at the Men’s College World Series. The Longhorns reached their record 39th trip to Omaha after sweeping both the Austin Regional and Super Regional, and they own a 13-2 edge in the all-time series with the Crimson Tide.

Texas also beat Alabama in a three-game set in mid-April at UFCU Disch-Falk Field, outscoring the Tide 15-4 across the series. The winner will move on to face the loser of No. 3 Georgia and Oklahoma at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
