Sprained MCL and PCL along with a torn meniscus for the All-American left tackle. Will have surgery within the next week to 10 days per the university. No timetable for a return.

actually, it could've been a lot worse.  I have a torn meniscus and it's bothersome, but I can do everything on it.  I could've had surgery to clean up debris, but elected not to.

Can you hold your blocks?  We just might need you!

So who is up next on the bench?  Nicholson to LT, Okafor to RT.  So who are are key reserves now?  Uriquidez, Anderson?  Please don't mention Cuney.  Imade back to OL, or has his ship sailed on the OL?  Hudson out for the year, Conner most likely gone,  two transferred out...any insight?

I had a torn meniscus in high school and my doctor to slow conservative approach which kept me out several months. Just depends on what they see when they get in there.

From what I've seen others posted, if he elects to clean it up he can return this year. If he elects to do a complete repair, he's out for the season. Whatever decision he makes I hope his long term benefit is clearly the focus.

Will depend on what they find during the scope.

I hate it for the young man, but being a junior, he has options.  He should get it completely repaired and see where he's at during rehab when evaluating whether to come out for the draft.  His best option may truly be to come back for his senior season and put 12 games on tape.  If he does that, he will more than likely be drafted higher than if he comes out for the draft after rehabbing from surgery.

I hope he has whatever he needs for longtime future health. He has enough "tape" right now to sell himself to the NFL. Conner....you do what is best for you and your future. We thank you for your service. His focus should be on getting 100% by the time of draft physicals.

It is not his fault we are razor thin on the line. He did his part damned well.

Agreed. He doesn't necessarily need more good tape to impress scouts. They already love him. If he gets well in time for draft season and tests well he will still go high.
