Conference Realignment Discussion

At the risk of getting fired, I sent that to my ag boss lol
  1. I'm sorry you have an ag boss
  2. You'd better hope the sumbitch has a sense of humor. Most don't when it comes to self-deprecating jokes. Lack of self awareness.

Besides being my boss, he’s a dear friend. We give each other crap constantly. Neither of us take ourselves seriously.

Our safety director is stereotypical ag. He is fuming right now and it’s hilarious!

That may be true, but how are you going to one-up the SEC with OU and Texas in it?

You're not.

"Retalliation" moves? lol. You'll do whatever gets you the most money. If you're just trying to hit back, you're stupid and probably shouldn't be in the role you're in.

The SEC move improves the TV eyeballs per game and thus the payout per team and excitement level. The only move that could be made to create another league that had a similar stature would be if the BIG10 lured some of the big TV market teams from the PAC and or ACC and or got Notre Dame to join.

Adding small market teams or having some kind of schedule agreements between them is not going to help the other leagues catch the SEC.

That cease and desist letter sounds like the rest of the Big 12 doesn’t want ESPN airing their games.

Guess no Gameday in Waco, Lubbock, Ft. Worth, Ames, Lawrence, Stillwater, Manhattan, or whoever I’m forgetting is.

Man, they have really got to put their big boy pants on. This is silly. These are grown men and women for goodness sakes.

Didn’t one of them have a plan of action for the day when Texas would no longer be carrying them.  We have done it, to our detriment, for over 50 years.  They should say thank you and move on.
