So if Texas gets the fees paid through the leftover of the LHN contract, and then seeks early admission . . . what does OU do? (not that I care, lol)

I’m not saying it’s true but supposedly ESPN/ LHN is going to pay for both schools with the LHN balance owed to Texas. I assume Texas is good with it because they won’t get that money any way and the SEC deal is worth it.So if Texas gets the fees paid through the leftover of the LHN contract, and then seeks early admission . . . what does OU do? The idea that there is a LHN balance is a strange way to look at it. If the Longhorn network goes away because it's not compatible with the SEC you wouldn't expect ESPN to owe us anything. So I'm not sure it makes sense to think of that money as TX moneyI’m not saying it’s true but supposedly ESPN/ LHN is going to pay for both schools with the LHN balance owed to Texas. The deal has 10 more years on it. So yes, it has value. Millions in value. The idea that there is a LHN balance is a strange way to look at it. I do think this deal is good for ESPN and that they are committed to making this happen and to fascilte a rapid transition have promised to pay a significant part of the tab. What form that takes will depend on how events unfold.
From everything I've read, this is totally a package deal. Neither Texas nor OU will do anything without the other. So if Texas gets the fees paid through the leftover of the LHN contract, and then seeks early admission . . . what does OU do? (not that I care, lol)
Texas has the contract and they have to let ESPN off the hook (pardon the pun). If ESPN wants the SEC contract and the SEC wants Texas and OU in the conference sooner rather than later then ESPN figures out a way to accommodate. The idea that there is a LHN balance is a strange way to look at it. I wanna make sure 0u is paying exorbitant, compounding interest on the loan.I’m not saying it’s true but supposedly ESPN/ LHN is going to pay for both schools with the LHN balance owed to Texas. I assume Texas is good with it because they won’t get that money any way and the SEC deal is worth it.
