Hearing Applewhite and Searles to UF...and their fans are less than excited!!!

I would be too. Maybe Searles can be himself and produce more than he's done at Texas. As for Applewhite, no matter where he's gone he just haven't proven a whole lot.

agree with you that applewhite still has a lot to proove - with a new coach coming he will most likely prefer to have his own team - so i guess it is a matter of time before most start looking out for new opportunities

Going to UF would be a very poor choice. Gator Nation is beyond ready to fire Muschamp. He very likely will be gone next year this time.

Whatever his shortcomings are as a coordinator, he more than makes up for it as a recruiter. Now, is that becuase he has Longhorn QB name recognition with Texas recruits? That remains to be seen going forward.

Was that really an option for him? I have a hard time believing that. Also, if the there is any truth to the Mack Brown hamstringing OC's, we won't really know his worth until he does it on his own.
