Fuente is staying at Va Tech.  Feels like Baylor is trying to hire anyone but McGuire, which is kind of odd, but Napier may still be on their radar.

Rumor in coaching circles was Fuente was offered Baylor job, but was told he could only bring 3 assistants with him in a "it ain't broke don't fix it" type of deal. If that all went like it was said Okam would've been retained if he wanted to stay. That didn't happen and it's on to plan B, which everyone is assuming is Joey Mac.

McGuire coached TEs for Baylor in 2017-2018. Sounds like he’s great for recruiting and is well-respected among Texas HS coaches. Why not call him up, point to the Aranda hiring over him, and offer him the TE job?
