Here's how Johnson's top RB each year has performed:

Sam Houston State:
2010 - Southland Newcomer of the Year
2011 - Southland Offensive Player of the Year
2012 - Southland Player of the Year and All American
2013 - Southland Player of the Year and All American

Toledo:
2014 - #3 in the country in yards per game
2015 - missed four games but still finished #5 in the MAC in yards and TDs

He should be able to recruit with previous experience as a txhs coach, UT staff, and SH staff. Plus once he learns Strong's recruiting way he should be fine.
I'd expect this guy to be our new RB coach

I have read on Twitter from UT fans that the Brick story has legs. Anyone have any info to share. Was also said that the replacement would be a great hire.

The guy's handle on Twitter is Hook'Em. He brought the Brick rumor up again this morning. I think he post here under another name. He usually knows what he is talking about. So now I am getting worried about losing Brick.

Brick leaving wouldn't surprise me. He worked under Chavis for years and aggy may be willing to overpay to make a "splash" hire. I'd hate to lose him, too, because he's proven to be a helluva recruiter.

a guy on the OB forum said Brick had now received an official offer from aggy that was more than he makes here. I suppose we can match or say goodbye.....maybe nothing to it.

Not really worried. We can draw a hungry DL coach. The only thing that matters from here on out is Winning. If we dont win then everything was for nothing. If we do win, it recruiting will take care of itself. We have the two classes that we needed.

well looks like Texas matched a&m's offer.  it sucks that it takes the possibility of leaving to get a fair market price for your services.  he should have been given a raise after the job he did recruiting.

I'd hate to lose Brick after one year, but I wouldn't overpay for his services.

What type of special needs educational support can aggy provide that Brick's son doesn't get in ATX? That will make or break his decision.
