Circle Drill - 2014 vs 2013

I don't see how anyone could see that video and not get a little excited. Times are'a changin'.

Good article from BON's Wescott.  See the difference?  The intensity of both coaches and players has been ramped up significantly! #TexasStrong

I am so ready for football season to get started. By the way that is the way a football team is suppose to get ready for the season. Knock the crap out of each other in a good way and then shake hands with your team mate. My friends y'all have a great week.

CIRCLE DRILL!!!! An old Iowa St. tradtition. Coach Dan McCarney at UNT still does circle drill. It's a drill used for toughness and to see who has "the want to" to hit. NO side to side, NO swim, NO pull, NO dip, and NO swat moves. No goal other than to push the opponet back.

There are several versions of this, all older than dirt, including the "Oklahoma" drill.

Bless Webscott, but all that is for fan hype. Coaches jumping up and down at a practice drill doesn't project to the amount of intensity practice wide, nor W&L's.

Some coaches are yellers, some aren't - yelling doesn't equate to winning on the field.
