Now, that's what I'm talkin' about!

C'mon down to the ATX, CC.  Welcome to the 40.

Hook 'em!

Finally something to cheer about.  All reports show he isnt rated as high as Kirkland due to height, but um hes inch shorter than Kirkland!  Kid hits like a mack truck.  Something to be excited about after a slew of bad news.

I guess he wanted to show Hornsnation the love after Kirkland went to the ugly orange. Moved up the commitment and brought a smile to our faces. Let's hope his Florida buddies follow him west!

This is the Alka-seltzer of news. Plop Plop fizz fizz oh what a relief it is, in cherry flavor. Chris Warren your next.

Very excited he made it official. Softens some of the disappointment of the Kirkland and Weathersby news. Strong and staff still have work to do.

I think Cherry realized he could be influential in the success of his own class. Therefore, no reason to wait and every reason to go ahead, announce, and start making some phone calls. He said as much in his statements today.

I thought we'd snag Kirkland, but having Cherry does ease the sting.

One thing I'm observing is this new pessimistic attitude most Longhorns have right now, especially with regard to MJ. I don't think there's reason to write off MJ until MJ gives us good reason to. Right now, we're still in it.

Someone on another board mentioned that he had lunch with a man who said his son was going to commit to us on Wednesday. Have no idea who that is though.

I was told Malik was promised Aggie would have a DC before his announcement date, if they don't them he might rethink where he is going. Probably UCLA

SHA

I love your optimism. I felt a little down once today but I'm beginning to get it back.

I already like Cecil Cherry. First this quote, "I'm trying to kill'em, to put them out the game." He also responded to Diggs on Twitter with this, "Eat time let's get it I'm coming to take someone spot".

You use the word pessimistic, I disagree and call it realistic. If insiders like Burton start reporting that things have changed to where MJ is to starting to look more at Texas, then our realistic attitude will become optimistic. Our best hope is for his parent to talk him in to going to UT.
