Wife and I are heading to the Coushatta Casino Resort in Louisiana tomorrow and coming back Monday. Gonna go donate some more of my heard earned money to Louisiana again. Would anyone care to transfer me some additional funds to use? I promise to take good care of said funds (but you'll never see that shit again, don't kid yourself).

Love that place. Play some golf while there. And drink plenty.... but you probably knew that already.....

Taking the clubs and may play a round with my brother in law. Will obviously drink, a LOT.

Nice golf course and decent gambling. I go during March Madness and sit in front of the video poker machine at the bar. Love the hell out of it. Win big buddy.

UTK66 lost it all and is eating pinto beans and vienna sausages for the rest of the month......

Not far from it. Luckily the wife went down to the casino Sunday morning before we left and recouped about $800.00 for us. Didn't get to play golf on Saturday like we planned. It had rained and the brother in law's shoulder was bothering him. I just headed to the casino and drank beer all day.

I lose every damn time I go there. FYI - they are building a Golden Nugget in Lake Charles near L'Auberge du Lac.

Tillman Fertitta doesn't play around so expect the Nugget to be top notch.

What pisses me off is that we were UP a little over $1000.00 just Friday afternoon and night. We took about $1000.00 with us to gamble and she counted it Friday night and we had turned it into about $2100.00. Of course most of it was put right back into the machines the next day.

Yeah, but that is pretty good if you were up $1100 day one. I'm cool as long as I don't leave down. When you are ahead by a little bit you drink better beer, spend a little more on a cigar and eat a little better. Last time I was at L'Auberge I lost around $500 in the first hour. I drank Miller Lite and didn't gamble for the next 8 hours or so. I ended up losing more and left that place vowing to never return. I haven't to this date. Not because I don't want to - but because my wife won't let me.
