Burnt Ends - Q&A edition

Depends on who you are looking at for ratings but there are still a few elite targets on the board (K'Lavon Chaisson and Omar Manning).
Since you brought up his name...what is the status of Manning and Texas? Is he leaning to the flip or is it turning the other way? We all know how hard TCU negative recruits against UT so the longer he stays committed, the less likely it is IMO.

he still on flip watch

How close are some of these 2018 prospects to receiving an offer, ( assuming we are interested ).

Jalen Green - CB

Darell Simpson - OT

Brennan Eagles - WR

Keondre Coburn - DT

Leon O'Neal - S

Mike, you mentioned Mohamed Sanogo during a podcast as a possibility at ILB. Have you heard anything more about this?
Haven't talked to Momo since around that time.  He's at the O-D bowl, but once he gets back I plan to get with him.  I know that sources in the program said he'd be evaluated as a possibility once Orlando was in place.

At this moment, who do you think the wide receivers will be in this class?

And do we have a shot at flipping kary Vincent?
I'll say Damion Miller, Omar Manning, and a surprise.  I think the third guy (if they take one) could be anyone recently offered (Charleston Rambo, CeeDee Lamb) to someone not offered yet (RJ Sneed, Trestan Ebner, Chris Miller).

I have some theories on the way it's playing out, but I would feel better if Omar still had an official to spend on Texas.  Honestly based on what we were hearing I expected something to happen by now, but the things behind the scenes still sound strong for Texas.

This staff has already been better about extending underclassmen offers, but I don't have a great feel for how they view the class as a whole.

I'd say Green and Coburn could have one coming soon.  Simpson is probably a big one as well, but the depth at WR and safety in 2018 could keep Eagles and O'Neal waiting for a bit.

For what Herman had to deal with recruiting wise , him and his staff have done a fine job so far.

Thanks for answering. Obviously I'd feel better he made the switch already. I'm not too concerned with WR depth, but he could be a good one. Nice size, good hands, and he and Miller would be a dynamic duo in the future.

ICYMI: Marvin Wilson just dropped a top 5 of LSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Florida State, and South Florida.

I love Omar.  He's one of the best kids I've been able to cover.  My theory is that he doesn't like the spotlight and would want to wait until later to make a flip, but the longer he stays with TCU the better chance is that it doesn't happen.

I can't tell if USF on the list is a middle finger to UT, a hug to Strong, or both
Seriously, the blame of going 6-7, 5-7, and 5-7 (with a loss to Kansas) has to fall on someone. God forbid the blame goes on the players..so who does that leave?
