I agree. Also they are much more recruiting centric than other sites. Going after stories like this is not their goal as a site or their forte. As a long time Horns247 Sports member, you're exactly right. That's a little harsh. Bobby's a good guy. He definitely has contacts and credibility. His strength is recruiting (as someone mentioned) and in that he was and is an industry leader.I would put it a little differently. Bobby goes to great lengths to not offend his contacts in Bellmont...especially Mack. Since those contacts are pretty much all on the verge of being history he's going to have to do something to reestablish his credibility.
All that is common knowledge. Bobby will be fine.Bobby and mack brown are friends. Mack was texting him today. Baghorn is right. Burton will be in trouble with a new admin and will need to still be credible
Ding, ding, ding...we have a thread winner!I would put it a little differently. Bobby goes to great lengths to not offend his contacts in Bellmont...especially Mack. He doesn't have to control anything his on the field results speak for him.All that is common knowledge. Bobby will be fine.On that topic. If it's Saban, ANYONE reporting on Longhorn sports is in for a rude awakening. He takes the idea of "control the message" to a whole different level.
The same could be said for Mack. Winning cures everything. He doesn't have to control anything his on the field results speak for him.
True, but a college fan base is a helluva lot different than their pro counterpart. The same could be said for Mack. Winning cures everything. When Saban was losing in Miami, they crucified him.
