Blue Gold Sports says Oliver Luck

No offense to Morganstown or WVU, but they are not Austin or UT. BTW my best man is from Morganstown and I have a WVU T Shirt in my closet.

For those complaining about his coaching hires...he didn't have the $$$ to get the best so, he hired some big names that fit their programs. I think at UT w/ the $$$ at his disposal the sky is the limit.

I'm probably telling you what you already know.... But Oliver Luck is a business man and a business man before anything else. That alone will bring success to Austin because of his mindset and the resources. WVU isn't a Texas or Oklahoma. From a resource, money and talent view, it just isn't in West Virginia. Luck's print is all over fundraises efforts, which have never been higher. New baseball and football coach.. not to mention a new baseball facility set to open in 2015 and the possibility of a new football stadium down the line. New facilities for the basketball programs. New weight room and coaching rooms was just remodeled. Basically the things Rich Rodriguez tried to do under the last administration, Luck came in and completed.

I'm not sure what you guy lack, which probably isn't much. But Luck will do a solid job for you guys.

Hope that helps.

Please give me something. (that's not a sarcastic please; that's a "I really am interesting in knowing more" please.)
I'm 50% excited about him. It's the other 50% that makes me "meh."

But anyone, really, is an upgrade over what we have now.

We lack a good football coach, a good basketball coach and a good baseball coach, maybe a good womens basketball coach and a new basketball arena.

We know he is a good at the arena stuff and fundraising and he might be really good at hiring the right coaches but from what i have seen he is limited in that key role. He could be great and we hope he is but there is a slight hesitation for me to jump up for joy because of that. He seems like the right hire and a perfect fit and the right time. Time will tell.

I would interview both Luck and Patterson b4 making a decision.
