Big 12 Schedule (2016)

Thoughts? We get hit hard to start the season.
A front-loaded schedule did us no favors this year and I don't see it helping next year. We'll probably have a new OC "who needs time to implement his complex offensive system". Ugh...

Can we just give up the home Thanksgiving night game, too? We haven't sold it out since the aggie rivalry ended. The NFL effectively gave CFB the middle finger by scheduling a triple-header that day, too.

Would love nothing better than for every 2017 recruit in the state to be at that season-opener against ND and for a new Sonny Cumbie offense to roll up 500 yards of offense on those Catholic interlopers.

Amen from the congregation! 🙌

This schedule doesn't seem to be backloaded as this years. Which means the conference may be won by mid November. I kind of like this year where they are still duking it out. At least everyone is still talking about the Big 12 teams and who might still make it in. I don't think this schedule helps the Big 12 in terms of the playoffs.

Alternating home and away games all conference season.... Away games vs K state, Tech, Kansas all winnable, might help us get over our road woes next year. Baylor/TCU both at home will both be tough home games

I guess having a bye week before Big12 conference play kicks off is a good deal

Notre Dame, Baylor and TCU at home.

6 home games vs 4 away games

Games between TCU WV and Baylor offer some repair time in between.

@ Oklahoma State is the toughest game on that schedule.

Don't care for UTEP being there. If we're going to schedule an easy game, let's go to Houston or DFW or some other recruiting hotbed.
