Apparently Catlin has flunked out of school and Averette is out for the 2014 year with a knee injury. Both were suppose to be in the two deep at LB. Boy it's going to be a long year for Oklahoma State I have a feeling.

Think about how difficult it's gotta be to flunk out of Oklahoma A&M.  I mean, the kid obviously never went to class.  Must be an aggie thing...

*Losing top QB in Chelf.
*Losing number 2 RB in Jeremy Smith
*Losing three of their top 4 receivers in Moore, Stewart, and Moore.
*Losing both starting guards in Webb and Graham.
*Losing starting center in Jake Jenkins.

*Losing top tackler in Lavey (second on team in interceptions/leader in tackles for loss)
*Losing second leading tackler in Lowe.
*Losing third leading tackler in Lewis.
*Losing fifth leading tackler in Johnson.
*Losing sixth leading tackler in Johnson (also tied for first in sacks).
*Losing seventh leading tackler in Gary.
*Losing eighth leading tackler in Mitchell.
*Losing ninth leading tackler in Gilbert (also lead in interceptions).
*Losing 12th leading tackler in Barnett (also tied for second in sacks)
*Losing 13th leading tackler in Patmon.
In other words they are losing 8 of their top 10 tacklers. Also, losing their top turnover guy in Gilbert. This doesn't even include the two LB's they just lost.

If Gundy can win 7 games next year, he's one hell of a coach. Even Oklahoma State fans on Twitter are tweeting they are just hoping to make a bowl game. That's a crap ton of production to replace.

I wrote a long response and deleted it, which is probably for the best. Gundy has some heavy lifting to do for at least the next year. One fifth of a team's practice time is a significant loss.

Hook 'em!

Natrell Curtiss, 2014 Sooner DT signee, just signed his LOI with the Aztecs. Knew it was unlikely he would ever play for the Sooners because of grades.

Will be interesting to see how Brown and Garnett work out because they were also high grade risks.

Don't forget they lost Joe Wickline....

I think it will be difficult for Garnett to handle college classes, even the 'watered down' ones FB guys can get at OU.

Oklahoma State is ripe for UTSA to upset them early in the year. Veteran team going against a very young group of Cowboys.

Kenny Williams Techs leading rusher the past two years is moving to linebacker. They must have some serious issues at that position.

I agree with you about Garnet. OU took a lot of players in that class that are very risky. Already lost one and looks like Brown is not going to get admitted. Better hope a couple of those other grade risks get their act together in college.

Heaps, Turzilli and Miller are all leaving Kansas.

Fairly significant. Miller was their second leading rusher. They already lost their leading rusher in Sims.
Turzilli was their 4th leading WR.
I'm also surprised Kansas decided to roll with Cozart. Heaps was a much better passer IMO.
